I just want to inform you, that I am officially inactive as TYPO3 core developer. This status is not brand new, I just forgot to write about it here.

Because I got some feedback already I want to make clear, that I'm not leaving the project. I just decided to move a little bit away from core development and do some more organizational stuff instead.

TYPO3 Developer Days coming...

I just uploaded the API documentation for TYPO3 version 4.3.3 and 4.4.0beta2. You can find them for online reading at the usual places. The download version is only available for 4.3.3 now.

I just disabled the commenting function on this page. I decided to do so because of the huge amount of spam coming in over the last weeks.

I have uploaded the new API documentations for version 4.3.0 just a few minutes ago. As usual you can read them online or download as tgz file.

I think it was during the Core-Team Meeting before the TYPO3 Developer Days 2009 when Jens Hoffman told the core team of his idea to make a meeting dedicated to the TYPO3 UI.

He planned a meeting with designers, developers and managers to work focused on usability tasks. The event should be free for all attendees and it was limited to 30 people. Now this vision becomes reality....

There are still some tasks to fulfill like integrating new technologies from the current TYPO3 trunk and so we give us another month to reach our first official milestone "Alpha 1".

The due date is October 30th where we will release a first official package that can be used for testing without checking out any...

Some of surely recognized, that this page was offline for the last 2 days. Well, I want to apologize for this even if it was not my fault. The network to the machine was somehow cut off and so it ran but was not reachable to the public.

Unfortunately it was not really possible to reconnect the server to the world wide web without disturbing other bigger internal networks and so I had to...

I have to admit that it took a while this year to bring the survey online. Just too much other things came across and so we needed some weeks. But now it's done and all attendees can now tell us their opinion on the TYPO3 Developer Days 2009.

Answering all questions will take 5 to 10 minutes and I think it's worth it because it helps us to make it even better next year! You can find the survey...

Today I had the plan to start using code templates in Eclipse. Yeah I know that might be a little late but that better than never. Anyway... I use Quicksilver on my Systems which is a really nice all purpose quick launch application. I bound that application to the keyboard shortcut [Ctrl]+[Space]. Unfortunately Eclipse is using exactly this shortcut for templates.

It happend again. As you might noticed, the server was unavailable again this morning. To be honest we don't know what the problem is but we investigating this right now.

The data will be transfered to another machine today, so it will be offline for a few minutes today. I hope we can solve the problems asap.
