Second version of Kate Highlighting for Kate

By: Thomas

29.01.06 20:24 Age: 5 yrs

Hi,

with the help of Bernd Pier, who added a lot of keywords to my first version, I can release the second version of the Syntaxhighlighting config for Kate.

I would appreciate if you would download it and test it. The most important thing for me to know is, if my defined colors are used by default. I have some problems with it on my system... The best thing would be, if you load a TS into Kate and send me a screenshot of it. :-)

Best regards and thanks in advance,

Thomas

Super, funktioniert bei mir auf Anhieb. Schön bunt, aber ob es nun die "richtigen" Farben sind, weiss ich nicht. Vielen Dank für die Arbeit!!!
Gruß, Miri

When editing an extension's files in kate, you might come across static typoscript files with .txt extension. To automatically set the syntax highlight to typoscript, use the following kate modeline (add at the end of the file):

// kate: hl TypoScript;

And btw, thanks for the syntax HL!

Thanks for this great tool.
I had a problem with the character "<" in line 311, col 19.. It wasn't permitted, so I substituted it with the analogical html-expression..

The highlighting works correctly, but I don't like the colors anyway ;)

Thanks for this great tool.
I had a problem with the character "smaller", so I used the according html-expression..

The syntax-highlighting works correcly, but I don't like the colors anyway ;)
