we finally made it! Today the 3rd annual TYPO3 Developer Days ended. I have the feeling almost all attendes liked the event a lot and they would really like to come back next year. At least many of them told me so! ;-)

Ingo has just packaged the final version of TYPO3 4.2. Congratulations for that!

Daniel Hinderink has just announced that the Snowboard Tour in 2009 will be again in the Crap Son Gion in Laax! So keep your navigations systems programmed. ;-) The date is already known and the event will be from March 22th to 29th.

The registration will start October 6th so add an entry to your calendar to get one of the good rooms and not in the tunnel of smell! ;-)

Beside the well known and loved podcasts from Kasper he will publish podcast about FLOW3 and TYPO3 5.0 in the future. today I uploaded the final version of the schedule for the DevDays in may to t3dd08.typo3.org. The last version (the intial release) missed some sessions and I changed the position of two sessions. Anyway, this version of the schedule is the final one! The won't be any changes until the Developer Days starts.

I also published a list of all sessions with speaker and abstract. So, everyone...

Ingo mentioned in the core list, that he will release TYPO3 4.2 RC2 today. All blocking issues are solved now and there is a big chance, that RC2 will be the final version. If no new issues will be found of course.

I'm very courios about the new release. To be honest I didn't followed the development very much since the installer was cancelled some months ago. So it will be somethign new to me...

Oh dear, I missed a birthday this year. ^^typo3-unleashed.net got 4 this year! ;-) I totally forgot about that. Okay, it's not that important for the most of us but when I started this blog I never thought that it will exist for such a long time. ;-)
