print pageData URL the unknown way of embedding images
Hi,
Jens Hoffmann showed me a very interesting link. It's about Data URL. I never heard of this before but it looks very exciting. Here is a short cite from the website:
Data URLs are a clever way of embedding images in HTML. Instead of linking to an image stored locally on the server, the image is provided within the URL itself as a base64-encoded string of data preceded by a mime-type. In this article I discuss how Data URLs can be effectively used to optimize website loading times and performance.
The article on this page, is about the usage of this technique within CSS. Maybe this is helpful for some of us in the future.
