Hi,

it has been a long time since my last post about the new Installer. I can't really apologize for anything. Well, I didn't worked in any way on the code because of a tremendous lack of motivation and lots of things I had to deal with on a private base.

I don't want to talk to much about the reasons for don't working on the code, because it me be understood the wrong way and so I better don't even say anything. ;-)

Anyway, I'm back and motivated to go on. I restarted the engine some days ago and added some new things. Well, not really new things but reimplemented old stuff.

I guess I can give you a small insider info on the next release of TYPO3 4.2. Ingo plans to release an alpha2 on wednesday next week and I want to have the new installer in it! This means I have to do a lot of things this weekend. ;-) Of course I can't promise anything, neither that alpha2 will be released next week nor that the installer be in alpha2! :-D This is just the theory.
