Hello,
As announced on the dev mailing list, the second beta2 was released this evening. The mirrors are not present now and so the download is very slow. I think will try it again tomorrow afternoon.
"The release contains the latest phpMyAdmin version and fixes one more bug related with MySQL 4.1."
Some wit has written crap in the forum. Drop it!
