Hello everybody,
I hope all of you had a nice weekend!?
Yesterday I tried to implement the new layout. This is not as easy as it seems at the beginning. I've created the basic templates on my workstation at home. When I copied them onto this server... Big surprise. Nothing works as expected. Hm... I have some trouble with image magick (Oh wonder) right now. The version on this server (Debian woody) seems to have no support for transparent gif images. That means, I have to port some of the graphics to png. No problem at all but that is a little bit anoying. Anyhow, the work goes on, and maybe I can finish it until the end of this week. I knwo I said something similiar a week ago, but I can't kick my ass to do templating. ;-) If you interested in the progress you can have a look on it at this page. I'm working on this server from now on, and yes I know that there are some mysql errors. No idea where they come from but I will fix it. If you have any other suggestions, please mail me.
The case-study is a similiar thing. I'm working on it but the progress speed is very slow because I don't have much time for tests. I think it will boil down to a quite short description of the installation. Not what I wanted to produce but I think thats the main point most of the people are interested in.
By the way, just in this moment I made the decision that the usergroup hamburg got their new logo. Yes, it's the fish I showed you on friday! :-)
A little mind leap... It seems that the design group doesn't reach their goal to release the logo sketches this weekend. That means, that they have to be released tomorrow! I am curious!
Now I don't know what I should write anymore, and so I close my article with...
Greetings,

Thanks for your great work and good luck!
++ Michael Cannon! Thanks Thomas for all your work, don't disappear! I read your blog regularly ...
At the first glance it seems to be a pity, that you've stopped working at the installer ( I really ...
