I HATE MYSELF! ;-)
Have you ever searched for an error you don't found even after hours of looking at the code? It can be really really frustrating if you think to yourself "I am nuts!". But it's also a great moment if someone else looks on your code, finds your mistake immediately and laughs at you...
What I learned today:
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_DB']->sql_insert_id;
will NOT return the UID of the last inserted tablerow. ;-)
