just a few minutes ago, Mathias Schreiber and JoH asenau published an invitation to the upcoming official marketing meeting that takes place on 28th and 29th of october 2005 in Düsseldorf.

The goal of that meeting is to find a basic strategy for establishing TYPO3 on the market of Web Content Managment Systems. It's planned as a kind of workshop where small workgroups should develope the single goals and procedures.

Single themes can be:

• rough estimate of the market
• screening the target groups
• developement of central marketing material with ready-to-go personalisable products (flyer, datasheets, maps etc.)
• Extension Promotion for single extensions (Minimum: stable and reviewed!) as modular system as extension for the base products (datasheets etc.)
• argumentation help for selling, speechs and discussions
• case-studies of successful sites and campaignes

The results of this meeting will be compressed and improved in the weeks after the meeting to have complete marketing package until end of 2005.

There will be a special subdomain on typo3.org for this project that will be published as soons as it is available. There you will also find all other information you need.
