Forming a newsTeam

By: Thomas

Some things happend in my TYPO3 life the last days. ;-)

Additional to kickstarter thing, it seems that I am the leader of the newsTeam. Ok, the newsTeam doesn't exists yet but it is my task to build it up the next days and weeks.

The reason for this is, that on the one hand we have a news platform (http://news.typo3.org) but on the other this platform isn't used very intensive. To make TYPO3 (and the work behind it) more public we decided to form a team that post all the news around TYPO3 on a central portal.

We thought about the way this could be done, and the current results can be found in the wiki. The discussion about the team and it's tasks is taking place in the typo3org newsgroup and it would be nice if some of you contributes there with ideas and / or suggestions.

I know that there are some inofficial news pages in the net (you're read one of them) but it would be nice to have some more "official" news. This won't make the allready existing pages obsolete because a kind of independent information can't be wrong! ;-)

Greets,

Thomas
