Hello,
the extension coordination team (ect) try to find the best extension of the year 2005. Everyone is invited to make proposals until the end of this year. For sure, nobody is allowed to propose its own extension. ;-) Any proposals can be made in the wiki (http://wiki.typo3.org/index.php/Extension_of_the_Year).
By the way, Ingo Renner is planing a new version of TIMTAB where the comments will be integrated. So the ve_guestbook extension is not longer needed.
