Hi,
I just had a look at my comments folder. And it made me sad what I saw there. A huge number of spam comments. I don't know how they came into the database... It seems that the captcha isn't enough to keep that bas***ds away.
Some weeks ago, I read something about another technique to avoit spams. I will see that I find it and implement it as soon as possible. If someone of you has an idea... Please tell me!
Greets,
Thomas

Hello
It seems like this captcha is "bad" implemented...
It seems like a static relation between imagetext
The image could be dedected by the url (&setid=111) I guess...
You just had to know one relation and possibly could spam the comments. Maybe I am wrong with my assumption... but a real captcha implementation could not be fooled.

Hi Daniel,
The captcha is not the problem. The spam comes into the system via trackbacks. The captcha has nothing to do with it. The bad thing is, that trackbacks can't be protected that easy. :-/
