DynaFlex reached 1.0.0

By: Thomas

19.06.06 22:04 Age: 2 yrs

Hello,

just a few minutes ago I've uploaded DynaFlex version 1.0.0 to the TER! This is the first step for releasing commerce! Franz Holzinger has also uploaded version 0.0.4 of Graytree to the TER. Commerce depends to both extensions and so you can see that we will really release a first version of commerce soon. ;-)

I have updated the manual of DynaFlex so that someone else than me can use it. ;-) I added some small how-tos. They are the same as the examples in the tutorial extension I released here some weeks ago.

If you are a developer please try it out and give me some feedback. :-)

Greets,

Thomas

@tec:
I don't think that making a donation will cause an earlier release of the extension...
It's not that I don't appreciate the hard work the dev team is doing, on the contrary, I'm very grateful for it! I just don't believe in any release dates anymore ;)

Hi Thomas!

I'm not sure if your are the administrator of typo3unleashed, but I'm sure those guys responible will read this...

1) resource - not ressoure

Your slogan is neat, but the word resource is spelled with one s only!!! (in english - in german you spell it with 2 s)

2) Am I allowed to use these cool icons (RSS, Amazon wishlist,...) on my own site? You see those icons everywhere around the web and I'm not sure if there is an "official" version of some of them available, or if those are all "handmade"...

3) I'm waiting for commerce for so many many months - that a few days more or less don't matter...... :-?

4) The developers are the ones with the biggest disadvantage regarding the late releasedates.... (thinking of the latest T3N in which was an article about shops...)

Hi mischa,
Yes I am the admin and the only editor. ;-)
1) Thanks for the hint! I have changed that.
2) Use them for whatever you want. (Check out http://www.antifavicon.com/)
3) Be patient. The day is not over! ;-)
4) Yes I know... :-/

Greets,
Thomas

Hello all,

I understand all your concerns about how the things went with this release. And I have to say that we didn't made it to finish an official beta. BUT! We decided to give away a current developement snapshot to everyone who is interested. Just write me an email to thomas@work.de and I will send you a package that contains commerce, a quick-install-guide and a short reference of the TypoScript options.

This version is totally without any support. This has two reasons. First, we know that their are still bugs in it. And we still working on an official release. We decided to bring you this version because we want to give you the possibilty to checkout out what is already there and what is not working correct. So if you find and bugs please write me at thomas@work.de. You *MUST NOT* send any mails about bugs in this pre-beta to the commerce-team email address.

We hope that you like what you read and that we get some feedback to make an official release happen as soon as possible.

Please do me a favour and don't publish any links to this comment.

I got my copy - thanks!

I remember reading about the german documentation being far more complete than the english one. Any chance that you could post it here?
