yesterday evening I stepped deep inside the core engine of TYPO3. The problem was that with TYPO3 4.0 some things have changed in the backend processing due to the introduction of workspaces I guess. The result of this was, that DynaFlex doesn't work properly with version 4.0. In fact it was impossible to create group fields with type "file". Every time you uploaded a file (or selected it via fileadmin) the file was not processed or the complete path was stored in the database and nothing was copied to the uploads folder.

The big luck was, that it was not a bug in DynaFlex wether in TYPO3. The problem was, that DynaFlex has to be called from a different place. So this updated mainly contains an update of the manual that describes how DynaFlex is called the best way. This way is that fileuploads are possible and the updates take effect right after the first saving of a form. Unfortunately the calls are not very elegant. Read the manual and you will see what I mean. I will work on a better solution of course.

Last but not least the new version contains minor bugfix that solves a problem if you want to use a function_call as modification.
