Ingmar Schlecht and Michael Stucki has revised the docs that where written at the DeveloperDays about the further developement of the TYPO3 4.X branch.

They have selected some of the issues and coordinating now the real developement. They also try to form some teams for the single projects. Some proposals for the next 4.1 release are

• UTF-8 by default
• Complete DAM Integration
• An improved list module
• Dynamic Backend Editing
• Normalize page types
• Improved Extension Manager (less memory consumption, faster)
• BE ACLs into the Core
• New Install Tool
• Frontend forms library shipped with the core
• Team Communication in the BE

I registered myself for helping out with some of this things and I hope that something cool be the result. ;-)
