DynaFlex presentation

By: Thomas

02.11.06 09:09 Age: 2 yrs

On saturday I have to hold a presentation about DynaFlex. Unfortunately I have no idea what could be interesting for the people. Has anyone an idea what the presentation should contain?

I will provide the slides of the presentation on this website of course. So you will participate from it as well.

Greets,

Thomas

Hola Thomas
I'd prefer an overview an introduction. As I didn't use DynaFlex yet, I don't think it would make sense to go into it too deeply. Just show off what it does, what possibilities it has - and answer the questions :-)

I'm really looking forward to this weekend!

cu @ the airport,
Mario

Hi Thomas,

I have written an extension which has consisted three plugins. Each plugin has had an own seperate folder (p1, p2, p3 and so on) and I've had problems with global variables, duplicated codes. Luckily for me I have read about dynaflex. Now, to put it briefly, I have one folder (only one p1) and three plugins. All configuration is set in FlexForm which is generated in fly. Each plugin has an own configuration form, all variables exist in one namespace, and no redundant code.

Thanks Tomas
Best regards

Hi Jerzy,
thanks for your commendation. It's great to here that DynaFlex is used by other people than me. ;-)

Greets,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

You have right. I've read many mailing lists but I found there were not many questions about DynaFlex. Maybe because of a short documentation. But with a source of DynaFlex, a debug function from TYPO3, and with the log file of MySQL server it takes me a few day to get to know the DynaFlex. Personally I think that DynaFlex is also a jolly good way of preventing from redundant code. It is for me very important :-)

Regards
Jerzy
