Hi folks,
here it is. If you look around on the page, you'll see what the "hidden project" was. I made a complete redesign of the site. I like it a lot. I have fixed lot of glitches that nerved me since months. And I thought, that I need some Web 2.0 stuff on the page. ;-)
Currently most of the pages you might know from the "old" page are online. But some are not. I'm not sure if all of the things I disabled will be come back. But we will see. Most parts are final but some are not. For example the gallery in the "specials" section is not styled yet, but I work on that.
I added some smaller things to the right sidebar. For example the tagclouds and the latest comments. Both extensions come from Frank Nägler.
I hope everything went fine and all pages working properly. If not gimme a hint please. I will write something about the new layout tomorrow when I had some sleep. ;-)
As usual I'm very (VERY) curious about your comments!
Greets,
Thomas

Looks very nice, but the header kills much place for content.
The bg-pic in the text area is my favourite :). Cya.

Sorry Frank! I mix up your names all the time!
I fixed it and added a link to your page! The RSS feed links should work now.

Thomas

like fladi said: welcome in the club of green ;-)
when i saw the new design for the first time (on the cebit) i also had the fast but not resting idea that the header might be too big. but... after the second view i think it is really fine, as you've enough place for this nice shadows. additional web 2.0 has to have a big header ;-)

Well, one can live only so long by basically exploiting oneself, so I think it's very understood in...
As you mentioned above, " it is much faster to copy and paste the needed stuff from other files." ...
Thanks for your great work and good luck!
++ Michael Cannon! Thanks Thomas for all your work, don't disappear! I read your blog regularly ...
