Hi,
some minutes ago, I committed a new feature to the core. It's about the start-screen in TYPO3. Now it is possible for the user to select an arbitrary module he wants to start with. This replaces the old possibility to start in task center or in the overview.
Greets,
Thomas

hi thomas,
this is a cool feature. will it be in the next release of typo3, may be 4.1.2?
regards arne

Hi Arne,
I guess it will be in the next .X release. Means 4.2. It's implausible that it will be in 4.1.2 because the patch releases are only for fixing bugs.

Thomas

That's a realy nice feature!
Is there a patch which I could use for my 4.1.1?

Hi Jonas,
I have added the patch file. You can try to patch your 4.1.1 installation with that. I don't promise anything but it should work.

Thomas
