Hi,
today I implemented the "hype it!" button in the singleview. With that button, it's possible for you to add the blogpost to the hype! portal which is organized by the yeebase guys who also bring us the T3N magazine.
The concept is pretty similar to services like digg, yigg and how they are all called.
To add a post to the portal, open the post on this page and click on the "hype it!" button beyond the title. You will be send to a new page where you have to enter some meta information and a description of the page you want to hype. If a page is already hyped (you can see that if the number on the button is 1 or bigger) you don#t have to enter any additional information. The hype counter is just increased by one.
Due to the fact that it is some kind of beta test here, please test it and give some feedback on it. Some errors might appear.
Greets,
Thomas
