Hi,

Even if I use Mac OS X for quite a while now, it took me some time to figure out how I can reach the searchbox in mail.app wita keystroke. In the end it turns out, that you can press [Cmd]+[Opt]+[F] to reach the searchbox.

Due to the fact, that this seems to be a Mac OS X standard, the shortcut also works in Safari and Finder of course.

This might be totally uninteresting for all those long time OSX users out there, but maybe som of you didn't know it yet. ;-)
