Hi,
Andy Lenz pointed me to a portal which is very similar to iUseThis.com. A portal where you can put various programs to your profile to support the project by showing other people that this tool is used.
iUseThis sepcialiced to mac software while oholoh.com calls itself an open sourec network that connects people through the software the create and use.
You can now register yourself on ohloh.com and put TYPO3 and FLOW3 onto your stack. Spread the world and show the people what you use.
Greets,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
thanks for that package. I am new to typo3 and flow3 (what is no surprise regarding flow3) and your package was the only screen for about 10 days now i could get to load in my browser beneath the ("i don't want to see that anymore") flow3 Default View.
As it often is when beginning something new: confusion rules. With this - for me - it rules throughout the place.
E.g. i could get your module working but i did not touch any .htaccess-file. Neither do i use VM-Ware. I can not figure out clearly what depends on/correspond with what. Anyway your package is working.
I first tried it with a checked out version from the flow3 repository, then i found there is also a t3v5 checkout option so i checked this out. There, your package works as well as with the flow3-checked-out files.
I suppose i've read through anything the flow3 homepage, the typo3 homepage and Google have to offer towards flow3/t3v5, including the mailing lits(s).
I tried searching on 'install typo3 v5' or 'typo3 get running with flow3' and almost any search term near these two (and anything else i thought would make sense). I found nearly nothing.
Now, when i check out the files form the t3v5-svn it comes already with the flow3 package so there should/might be a way to get something started. But i am completely out of ideas now what else to try.
Furthermore i did not really get an idea about how the typo3 sites are structured/organized. What belongs to typo3-v4, what belongs to typo3-v5 etc.
Is it too soon to try anything like that? Did i miss some important points?
E.g. i was searching for flow3 coding guidelines, according to the flow3 homepage they should be out there somewhere, but i could not find them.
Do you have any ideas where/how i can get deeper into this/find information?
Up to now it is your package which hepls me getting on. But satisfaction about it working somehow is not complete after about 10 days of trying and trying and trying on getting any output from the typo (or any other) package.
Any (really any) hint/help/link from you or anyone else would be a fantastic easter gift.
Thanks again,
Frank
