T3BOARD08 - expensive stuff and first day in the slopes

Hi,

today we had our first day in the slopes. It was very nice but let me start at the beginning. We had breakfast at 8am and than Tobias and me went down to Laax to borrow a board, shoes and a helmet. The store was a bit unprepared for that much people with big feet and so they don't had any equipment to rent. No problem, they took new boards from the shelf and gave us them. On the one hand, it's nice to get new "hardware" but on the other hand the boards and stuff are in the highest price category. Not so nice, and so we had to pay 200€ for 6 days. Hmpf... I think I will organize my own stuff for the next year. ;-)

After getting back to the hostel with the gondola we started our first run. The first meters where a bit shaky but than I had the feeling back and I made my first run down the slopes. I'm still not the best boarder, and I still have some problems with driving turns but hey... This is the first time I stand on a board since the last tour in 2007. And so it was pretty good for me.

Later we made a second run and after that we get out of the clothes. I don't want to hurt myself. ;-)

Now we wait for the dinner and checking the allmighty internet in the meantime. Photos will follow shortly!

Greets,
Thomas
