tt_clap
Hi,
one of the funniest things during the TYPO3 Developer Days 2008 was the tt_clap extension. To give you some background information. Clapping is one the most important things in the TYPO3 community as it seems. The features and bugfixes for 4.3 where selected by an Aplause-o-meter for example.
tt_clap also became a synonyme for positive feedback in any way.
Unfortunately, register extension starting with tt_ is not possible on typo3.org. Anyway, Robert made it happen that the extension key is now available the devlopment of the official TYPO3 Applause-o-meter is finally possible!

Even if the key is fun... I'm pretty sure I will use it for something serious in the future! I alreday have some ideas in mind. :-D

Sounds like a cool idea ... indeed! But I have a hard time understanding why bugfixes would be selected via an Aplause-o-meter ... bugfixes should be applied anyhow?! Just my 2€ cents.

we just don't care! ;-) I mean most of us are german and for us tt_clap stands for clap your hands. :-D Anyway, thanks for the hint! I also think that most english speaking people will understand it anyway.

Funny thing. I think there is no system which has that much extensions as TYPO3. I hope it won't get the system with the most unmaintained extensions :-)
