1st TYPO3 Bug day announced

By: Thomas

25.06.08 10:50 Age: 103 days

Earlier today, Ingo Renner announced the first TYPO3 Bugday. It's something similar to the "Zap The Gremlins" project back in 2005.

This time, the bug squashing project has a wider approach. The community and should be included. Every developer is called to help TYPO3 by fixing bugs. Even if you are not a developer you can help. Go through the bugtracker and search for easy to fix bugs and mark them with a tag "bugday". The devs will try to fix this issues on June 27th. By the way, that is the official date for the bugday.

You can read all instructions and the official announcement here.

Greets,
Thomas

We (Sonja, Raffi, Cedric and me) would like to mark some bugs, but I can not find the option to mark them as bugday. Is a comment enough?

Hi Jonas,
you have to be logged in. Open the issue you want to tag. At the end of the description, you'll find an input box called "Attach tags" or "Tags zuordnen" in the german interface. Just enter a new tag or select an existing tag from the dropdown and hit the "Attach" button.

Greets,
Thomas
